Brass screws commonly used in marine applications for many years. Stainless steel can, but I rather bronze. I have personal experience in this situation and have built several small boats hull of plywood. Brass has always served us well, and I am building a new boat, I brass screws. The marine epoxy paint would be my choice in the image of a ship. I do not think I'll tables for the use of this fund. I built boats Joh table, but there are problems. Basically, they tend to flee. While they are in the water and self-absorbed, the plates will swell and seal against each other, but should still be moist all the time. When they dry, shrink and leaking badly. If the color and stamp of the table, where everything is "watertight" before installing, it is almost impossible for your partner enough to neighboring tables seal completely. Very unsatisfactory. I would be marine plywood instead of tables. I think it will be happier with the result. I know there are books availbe Shipbuildingvaluable information for you would be considered. I think it would be a thorough investigation before deciding whether to make an end of the table! Hope this helps! DP
Nothing galvanized with a little oil before the screws in zinc are not removed when you are screws sink and prevent a little glue on the back so that the maximum oxide usage. like the painting down
Use of stainless steel. This is not the cheapest, but 10 happy years.

I am sure, others respond, but I think the deck of the Treaty. They seem to be very good in these applications. What happens with a polyurethane finish? I think a boat that had the appearance of natural wood is very nice. They do not know whether to use navy or not? "
